The New Mexico State Bar Foundation Invites Golfers to Register for the 2025 Golf Classic on Sept. 29

The New Mexico State Bar Foundation Invites Golfers
to Register for the 2025 Golf Classic on Sept. 29

Albuquerque, N.M., Sept. 17, 2025 — The New Mexico State Bar Foundation (“Bar Foundation”) will be hosting its 2025 Golf Classic on Sept. 29, starting at 8 a.m. (MT), at the Sandia Golf Club located at 30 Rainbow Rd. NE, Albuquerque, N.M. 87113.

After the golf tournament, the Bar Foundation will hold a reception at the Sandia Golf Club that will include lunch, drawings for fun prizes and multiple award distributions.

“The Foundation’s incredible work is possible through our community’s support and participation in these community-building events,” stated Joey Gutierrez, Development Director of the New Mexico State Bar Foundation. “Building on the massive success of last year’s Golf Classic, we are confident this year’s will demonstrate our commitment to justice and passion for collective spirit.”

Open to all New Mexico residents, both in and outside the legal community, golfers may choose to register individually for $200 or in a group of four for $800.

Benefitting both the public and the legal community, all proceeds from the event will benefit the New Mexico State Bar Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Bar Foundation’s programs and resources include the Legal Resources for the Elderly Program (“LREP”) and the Modest Means Helpline (“MMH”).

The Legal Resources for the Elderly Program, established approximately 30 years ago, continues to help many in New Mexico’s elderly population through a variety of services, including monthly workshops and online resources. In the 2025 fiscal year alone, LREP served nearly 3,400 clients in New Mexico.

The Modest Means Helpline that was established in 2022 has also been successful in its mission to assist the underserved in New Mexico. As of Sept. 2025, nearly 20,700 New Mexican residents have benefitted from the services of the Modest Means Helpline.

Both the Modest Means Helpline and the Legal Resources for the Elderly Program remain crucial to New Mexico’s network of legal services, and participation in the Bar Foundation’s 2025 Golf Classic is an excellent and entertaining way to ensure these programs continue to effectively serve New Mexicans while bringing the community together for some light competition on the greens.
