The New Mexico Lawyer Assistance Program operates out of the State Bar of New Mexico in an effort to provide confidential well-being resources and services to the NM legal community. NM LAP oversees a confidential helpline, monitoring service, volunteer committee, and outreach with the goal of helping legal professionals decrease or eliminate struggles with mental health conditions, substance dependence, and other life crises.

NM LAP’s support services may include temporary financial assistance, through the In This Together Fund, for program clients requiring treatment, augmentation of program services, special events for client support and public awareness.

All donations to NM LAP’ In This Together fund are tax-deductible and are a meaningful and compassionate way to improve the administration of justice, the legal profession, and protect the public.
