Providers Seeking Course Approval

New Mexico MCLE Provider Portal Instructions

The State Bar of New Mexico MCLE Program is now accepting course approval requests and attendance reporting through our new provider portal, accessible HERE.  

Access the Provider Portal to create one or more user accounts for your organization.

  • To activate your user account, access the State Bar website at www.sbnm.org. Select “Forgot Password” to set your password. There are additional instructions on the left side of the screen regarding first time logon. After you set up your initial user account, you may add additional user accounts, submit courses for approval and attendance lists with payment.
  • If your email address is not found, you can add your information by accessing the New Provider portal HERE.

Submit a single course or a list of courses: 

  • Access the Course Provider Portal by going to www.sbnm.org and selecting Login in the upper righthand corner of the screen. Log in with the user account you created in the previous steps. After you login, you will see your name in the upper righthand corner. Click on your name and this will take you to your dashboard.
  • Select MCLE Provider Portal from the righthand column of the Dashboard.

  • From the Provider Portal, select either “Submit New Course List.”

Submit an attendance list:

  • Login using the process described above.
  • Select MCLE Provider Portal from the righthand column.
  • To submit attendance, providers must use the special formatted Excel spreadsheet found on the provider portal.

  • Complete the Attendance Reporting Spreadsheet including Course ID numbers for each course for which attendance is being reported.

  • Select “Report Attendance” to upload the Attendance Reporting Spreadsheet and pay the filing fees.
