The New Mexico Workers’ Compensation Administration (WCA) is accepting applications for a Paralegal Advanced/Legal Secretary Position for the WCA Enforcement Bureau which is charged with enforcing the Workers’ Compensation Act against employers lacking required workers’ compensation coverage and persons committing acts of unfair claims practice, bad faith and fraud. The successful applicant will work with the Enforcement Bureau Chief to assist in the preparation of pleadings; exhibit preparation; preparation for hearings; service of process; case scheduling; and tracking of penalties imposed. The Enforcement Bureau appears both before judges of the WCA and New Mexico District Courts.
