About the Elder Law Section

The purpose of the Elder Law Section is to facilitate and improve the law and practice of law in areas of particular concern to the elderly, including preserving and enhancing the rights of physically and mentally challenged individuals with respect to care, housing and asset management and to lead, coordinate and serve as a coordinating agent and clearinghouse for the efforts of the various agencies involved in service to the elderly.

Want to join the Elder Law Section? You have two ways of doing so!

  1. Still need pay your licensing fees? Simply check the Elder Law Section when completing your Licensing and Renewal forms. Join as many sections as you’d like while you are there!
  2.  Already paid your dues for the year? Login to your Member Dashboard (see top of screen). Navigate to ‘My Groups’ and click ‘Join Section/Voluntary Bars’. Select Elder Law Section and to pay the dues and join. You can join any section or voluntary bar at any time.
