Free Legal Resources for the Elderly Program Virtual Legal Webinars on June 10 and 17

The New Mexico State Bar Foundation’s Legal Resources for the Elderly Program (“LREP”) will be hosting two free virtual legal webinars for the month of June.

 

The first webinar will be held on June 10, starting at 11 a.m. (MT). This webinar will cover Powers of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directives, probate, non-probate transfers (including Transfer on Death Deeds) and Institutional Medicaid.

 

The second webinar will be held on June 17, starting at 11 a.m. (MT). This webinar will cover information regarding Powers of Attorney and Advance Health Care Directive, such as things to consider when picking an agent, what powers to grant an agent, how to revoke a Power of Attorney document and the possible consequences of not having one in place in a time of need.

 

New Mexico residents can register for the June 10 webinar at https://bit.ly/LREP-June-10. The June 17 webinar can be registered for at https://bit.ly/LREP-June-17. Members of the public may also call 505-797-6005 and provide their first and last name and email address to register. After registering, they will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
