Legal Resources for the Elderly Program’s FREE Virtual Workshops in March

LREP has two free workshops planned for the month of March. The first one is on March 7 at 11 a.m. (MT), and the second webinar is on March 28 at 11 a.m. (MT). Both will be available via video and teleconference.

 

The March 7 presentation will cover the following topics: Powers of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directives, probate, non-probate transfers (Including Transfer on Death Deeds) and Institutional Medicaid. The March 28 webinar will cover information Powers of Attorney, including the Financial Power of Attorney and Advance Health Care Directive. Topics discussed will include things to consider when picking an agent, what powers to grant an agent, how to revoke a Power of Attorney document, and the possible consequences of not having one place in a time of need.
