The New Mexico State Bar Foundation’s Legal Resources for the Elderly Program has one in-person workshop scheduled for Nov. 10, which will run from 8:30 – 10:45 a.m. MT and will be located at the Mary Esther Gonzales Senior Center in Santa Fe, NM.
The workshop presentation will go from 8:30 – 9:45 a.m. MT, followed by a POA/AHCD clinic that will run from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. MT.
The workshop will cover Powers of Attorney, Advance Health Care Directives, Probate, Non-Probate Transfers (including Transfer on Death Deeds) and Institutional Medicaid. An attorney will be available on-site to prepare POA and AHCD documents after the presentation.
Pre-registration is required for the POA/AHCD clinic by calling LREP at 1-800-876-6657 or 505-797-6005. These workshops are free and open to the public, and family members and care providers for the elderly are invited to attend.
