Who we are and what we do:

The Center for Legal Education is a non-profit course provider and part of the New Mexico State Bar Foundation. The State Bar Foundation is also the public service arm of the State Bar. We partner with our member sections, divisions and committees and produce stand- alone programs. 

No State Bar licensing fees support CLE. In addition, all net revenues help fulfill the foundation’s mission of providing public service and access to justice by financially supporting the programs in the foundation.

What will be asked of you as a CLE Presenter:

Thank you for donating your time and expertise to presenting at the Center of Legal Education. With your help, we are able to offer quality continuing legal education to State Bar members and help to support the public service programs of the New Mexico State Bar Foundation. The Center for Legal Education is a non-profit course provider and net revenues keep our public service programs in operation.

To ensure the success of this program, your assigned CLE Coordinator will ask for the following information by a specific date:

• Short biography, approximately 150 words in paragraph style
• Written materials indicating the order in which documents should appear
• Copyright form
• Audio/visual needs form
• PowerPoint presentation if applicable (Please specify if the presentation should also be included in the materials and we will include it as a pdf.)
