Annual Meeting FAQ’s

Helpful information for attendees planning for the 2026 Annual Meeting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I have a general question about the Annual Meeting. Who can I contact?
Q: How many continuing legal education credits is the 2026 Annual Meeting?

A: 6.5 credits – the final distribution of credit type is still being finalized, however, there will be a mix of general, ethics/professionalism, and equity in justice.  There is one “bonus” session, on Thursday afternoon, which can earn an additional 1.0 EP credit for in-person attendees.

Q: Why isn’t the Annual Meeting 12 credits this year, like previous years?

A: To take full advantage of all that the greater Durango and Southern Colorado area has to offer, for our first Annual Meeting out-of-state in almost 10 years, we are trying a new format – keeping the afternoons open for free time. While we will have a few activities available for those who wish to stay on-site, we encourage attendees to explore the area. For ideas, including family-friendly options, see our website at: https://www.sbnm.org/CLE-Events/Annual-Meeting-2026/-Southern-Colorado-Activities.

A: Contact cleonline@sbnm.org.
